The Company
Our client operates a well know premium Bakery with 100+ outlets in Indonesia which is currently looking for 2 professionals to join the team.
The roles
A fluent grasp of the English language.
1.Pastry & Cake Technical Consultant
2.Bread Technical Consultant
Qualification:
Minimum Diploma in Food Technology, Food Science or equivalent
Has minimum 5 years experience in bakery in each respective area,
For position of Pastry & Cake Technical Consultant: specializing in cakes, pastries, and dessert
For position of Soft Bread Technical Consultant: specializing in soft breads (Taiwanese or Japanese Breads)
Able to deliver successful new products
Has creativity and artistic ability in recipe development
Able to write product specifications, SOP and perform quality control
Formal culinary training preferred
Expatriates from Japan, Taiwan, Singapore or Malaysia Expatriates must be able to speak in English
Detail Information:
1. Will be placed in Head Office in Jakarta to develop new products and ensure the quality of the products
2. Will be reporting to directly to the directors in the head office
3. Salary range USD 4,000 to 5,000 per month (higher salary is also possible commensurate with the experience)
4. Will be given meal and transport allowances, annual bonus, accommodation and return tickets every 3 months.
Duties and responsibilities :
a.To create at least five new products (cakes, breads and pastries) every month.
b.To record all the recipe & methods of production of new products according to the standard operating procedure
c.To deliver training to production section heads (cakes, breads and pastries)
d.To monitor and control the quality of new products in all branches
